Human Resources Generalist

Sachs Insights is a highly innovative, qualitative market research consultancy located in New York City (SoHo) and operating globally. Growing rapidly, Sachs Insights has an immediate need for a motivated part-time Human Resources Generalist (24 hours per week).

Description: The Human Resources Generalist (HR-G) is responsible for managing the administrative and local Human Resource needs of the company, including on-boarding new employees, maintenance of employee records and files, management of the performance review and compensation processes, administration of employee benefit programs and management of employee terminations. The Human Resources Generalist will establish trusted relationships with employees such that any employee issues, concerns or problems can be effectively surfaced and addressed. The HR-G will work closely with recruiting resources enabling a smooth transition into the company. The HR-G will work closely with all departments in planning for projects HR needs including space and training.

Qualifications:

  • BA, HR Management or similar field
  • 5 years HR experience
  • Experience with SHRM, PHR/SPHR certification preferred
  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent writing skills; must be able to write clearly and concisely
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills; knowledge PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent ability to multi task
  • Flexibility and adaptability
