UXPA Boston Conference 2015
May 20, 2015
By Pete Wasserman, Director of Research and Consulting, B2B
On May 15th, I had the pleasure of being invited to present a talk with my client and colleague, Alfred Kahn, Director of User Experience at Wolters Kluwer, at the 2015 UXPA Boston conference. The event is held annually (for the 14th year running now) by the UXPA of Boston and attracts UX professionals from all across the country, and perhaps beyond. While there are UXPA events in cities across the US, I don’t know of a better organized or well attended city-sponsored UXPA event. This year’s event had 5 tracks spanning UX Research, Design, Strategy, Service Design and Career Development.
We were invited to present some of the collaborative techniques we have honed that help us tackle the challenges of conducting research in the B2B space, enabling innovation and smart product development. The event drew more than 800 people and was considered a resounding success. The feedback we received was fantastic. It reinforced our assessment of the challenges people face in B2B product development and our aim of delivering practical solutions that people can implement right away. Most importantly, the presentation highlighted our commitment to ongoing client collaboration.
