UX Holiday Party
January 7, 2015
Sachs Insights joined the New York UX community in spreading holiday cheer at the annual UX Holiday Party, generously held at Pivotal Labs’ amazing space on December 11th. It was a testament to the vibrant and diverse UX folks in attendance – designers, developers, researchers, marketers, coders and lots of students interested in joining the world of UX. A common theme: their excitement for just starting or just finishing UX classes at General Assembly.

As flavorful as the food was from Food 360, Sachs put our own spin on “coffee and dessert” by creating a DIY whip cream and toppings bar with sea-salted brownie bites and macarons – along with an A/B taste test of coffee flavored tequilas. Can’t take the research out of the researchers!
In addition to Sachs, sponsors included InVision, MasterCard, Vitamin Talent and AnswerLab. Walking around the venue, it was clear that networking was in the air as job-seekers looked to connect with established firms and start-ups.
Throughout the evening, many conversations were overheard regarding UX today and the future of the industry. It was evident that those in attendance believe that the momentum of 2014 would surely intensify in 2015.
